Holy shit. I just pulled a Moron and made my entire entry go poof. GRRRARRGHXNALJVO.
I can't write it all again. No fucking way. So let's just recap:
Lunch with my dad was awesome. Surprise, surprise - he liked the food. Duh. We talked about stuff, and I even got some dollah bills out of the deal. Can't beat that.
When I got back here I stopped at school and got my schedule for next semester sorted out with the dean. I picked out two electives today - Sequential Art (read: comics!) and Intro to Animation. Sweet ass. So far as I can tell, my other classes will be Drawing for Designers I, Typography I, and American Art. It'll be my first semester taking 5 classes, but I'll still only be taking 12 credits because the electives are only worth 1.5 credits each. Which is a bit lame, I think, but I really can't complain. I mean, take a moment to deal with those electives. It's like the Second Coming of Awesome.
The better part of the day was spent watching the last three discs of Freaks & Geeks, which actually belongs to Adam but since he forgot it I figured I may as well take advantage of the situation. Awesome show. Needless to say, I wish it hadn't been cancelled.
After the all-day sit-a-thon I decided to make strawberry cream eggs. It's not often that culinary experiments go south on me, but this one? This one went so far south it crossed the border into Mexico. I see now where I went wrong, but it doesn't lessen the sting of failure. Or of wasting food. I hate wasting food. I'm going to pick up what I need tomorrow and try again, though. I shall overcome! Or die trying.
It was a downward spiral kind of day, really. It peaked very early.
Now I'm going to change into my PJs, change the hamsters' water, drop a few peas in their treat dish, and read until I pass out. Good times. Au revior.
