lemony goodness
I think that somewhere along the line, one of my ancestors mated with a vacuum. Seriously. I've been hoovering up everything in sight today - and there was nothing healthy in sight, let me tell you. You know those little
Tastykake pies? The rectangular ones? I don't know if they're distributed everywhere; I've heard that you can't get
Tastykake products on the West Coast, in which case, all of you poor suckers have my deepest sympathies. You have no idea what you're missing. Anyway, I had a little lemon pie for lunch. It was quite yummy, actually. It made me happy for the few minutes that I was eating it. Anything lemony makes me happy. Lemon lollipops, lemon drops, lemon pie, lemon donuts, lemon water ice, lemonade, undergarments and sleepwear with lemons on them... I could go on. The smell of lemons is the best thing ever. I really want a bra and underwear with lemons on them. And pajamas to match. I would veg out in front of my non-existent fireplace with Adam, sipping lemon tea from a mug with a big lemon on it, wearing my lemony underwear under my lemony PJs with some fuzzy lemon slippers... ahh. A vision of perfection.
Okay. Now that I'm off in my little lemon world, what I was talking about has no relevance. What I was talking about before the lemons, I mean. Suffice it to say that if something was bad for you and tasted good, I ate it. Moving on.
Adam and I went to Borders for tea. I asked my sort of friend Robby, who works there, what they have against me. The "Now Hiring" sign is still up, and apparently they're hiring all positions this time. He told me to call and talk to Mindy. Deja vu, anyone? Christ. I have another application, and if I don't get anywhere when I call, I'm just going to fill it out and hand the thing in. Again. This'll be my third, I think. Oy.
After Borders, we went back to his dad's house and played SSX Tricky for another 3 hours. I am so buying that game. That's all I have to say about that.
I have to go get a new tire tomorrow. Eck. Adam's going to come with me, I think, which is nice. Automotive places intimidate me. I don't know why. Maybe because I have absolutely no idea what's going on? Yeah, that could be it.
In other news, there is a very large American flag on my couch. I don't know where it came from. I'm slightly frightened of it.
That'll be all.
