"Say repressed homosexuality!"
And lo, Christmas break draws to a close. In 9 hours, I will be up and getting ready for the first day of my second semester here at PCA&D. Just under 12 hours after that I will be trundling home from the longest school day EVER. But I'm sort of excited, in, um, an apprehensive sort of way. Two-Dimensional Design was pretty much my least favorite class last semester, after Western Art of course, and a second semester of it is not exactly cause for a happy dance. And after that I have Creative Writing, which is, you know... fun, I guess, but at this point it's just a reminder of how pointless half of my classes this semester are. I'm taking two classes that I don't need. At all. This will be my THIRD TIME taking Creative Writing. It's annoying. I'd rather spend my time at school accruing credits that I actually need instead of wanking my way through two classes that don't count toward my major or provide me with anything but another 6 useless liberal arts points.
But I digress. There's a glimmer of excitement in there among the annoyance, really there is. So I'm choosing to remain optimistic, for now at least. I reserve the right to be as cranky as I want after a few weeks (or, as is more likely, a few days), though.
In other news, Veronica Mars kicked ass tonight. As usual. If this show isn't renewed for a second (and third, and fourth, and...) season, I will officially lose my last scrap of faith in humanity. Seriously, wtf? Watch this show. It rocks like something so hard-rocking that I can't even think of an appropriate analogy. Every Tuesday night I bow down and worship at the altar of Veronica, and so should you. Come on, do it! Give in to the peer pressure!
No, seriously. Watch. And if you've never seen it before, now is a perfect chance for you to catch up. The next three weeks hold reruns, starting with the pilot episode. Which saddens me to no end, since I don't need to catch up with anything and crave new episodes like crack. Or cake, since I've never actually, um, experienced crack. Anyway! Mmm, addictive TV goodness... you know you want to.
Remember, kids: drugs suck. Just say YES to Veronica Mars!
