invasion of the chocolate rounds
There are three chocolate cakes in my house.
Three. Someone please kill me before I go into the kitchen and steal them all.
I went to visit Amanda at Friendly's this afternoon, because the place was dead. When I got there, the only people in the restaurant were the ones who worked there. And myself, of course. She made me the special sundae that I used to make myself when I worked there - soft-serve vanilla ice cream with banana slices, rainbow sprinkles, and Oreo pieces. Mmmmm. It was muy bueno. I hung around while she Windexed the paintings on the walls and the pottery and such. It reminded me of the time that a part of my side work was to "dust the knick-knacks." At the time, it was funny. Actually, it's still funny. The word knick-knack being used in any serious context is more than I can handle.
All in the Family is the most irritating TV show ever. Archie Bunker is a foul, foul human being, and Edith screeches like some horrible undead creature. Mason is watching it right now, and it's making me want to stick Q-tips so far into my ears that they poke at my brain.
I have nothing incredibly interesting to say right now, so I believe I'll just stop. I'm busy ogling all the great art on Elfwood and beating myself up because I'll never be that good. You know, the usual.
