when bike seats attack
Ah, the joy of not being lazy. I got up this morning and took my grandma to the grocery store, which was less painful than I expected. We were there for almost two hours, but I got a wild berry muffin and a pint of coconut sorbet (yum) out of the deal, so I'm not going to complain. I took her home and unloaded her groceries, and she gave me ten bucks because she knows I'm poor. My grandma rocks sometimes.
While we were at the grocery store, the day miraculously turned from gross and wet to sunny and breezy, so when I got home I dug my bike out of the shed and went for a ride. It was nice, aside from the fact that the bike seat seemed exceptionally hard. Ow. But it felt really good to be outside and active, because lately the weather had been foul and I've been even more sluggish than usual.
And now I'm home, writing in my diary. I'm also really, really thirsty; parched, even. I believe I'll go pour myself the largest glass of water that I can find, and maybe watch some TV. Yeah, I know, it's completely unproductive and lazy, but I don't care. I got in my exercise for the day.
