episode #1,113, in which BookWorm kicks my ass
Hola, kids! I'm feeling particularly chipper tonight, because things have gone fairly swimmingly all day. It's nice. I had a nummy delicious yet diet friendly burrito for lunch, my first Drawing II class wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting, and when I got home I actually had an idea for a story and am currently working on that start of that. And I partnered with a really nice lady for our first bit of drawing tonight (we had to draw each other) who told me out of the blue that I have a beautiful face and really pretty skin. I was absolutely floored and could only thank her. When I told her that I don't hear things like that very often, she looked honestly taken aback. Which just surprised me more. Because seriously, people don't say shit like that to me. Ever. Especially not strangers that I just met half an hour ago. But needless to say it was a nice self-esteem booster.
Adam passed along a copy of this album to me a few days ago; it's really good. However, every time I listen to it I'm very strongly reminded of School House Rock. Something about the singer's voice is just very reminiscent of a lot of the voices from School House Rock. I can't put my finger on a particular song, but the resemblance is there, I swear to god. Or maybe I'm crazy. Stranger things have happened.
Dude, why is my connection so slow right now? This is ridiculous. It's taking like 12 minutes to load a page that's entirely text. Whatever, Comcast. Get with the program.
Ha, one of my favorite things about playing BookWorm is working in naughty words. I've used penis, porn, tit, and various other on many occasions. However, BookWorm also annoys the crap out of me because I keep getting past like 18 levels and then it starts spitting out the flaming Z, X, J, and Y's. There are only so many words you can make with those, okay? Especially when they're completely surrounded by consonants. Stop playing dirty. I swear they purposely program computer players and the like to be vicious, diabolical bastards. Just for fun.
And to continue this completely random train of thought, I would like to turn every on to a very delicious snack that I am now thoroughly addicted to. Quaker Chewy Cookies & Milk Granola Bars. They come in three flavors - chocolate chip cookie, cookies 'n cream, and mint chocolate cookie - and are mmm, mmm good. Seriously. I've had the chocolate chip cookie and the cookies 'n cream kind, and will definitely be buying a box of the mint chocolate cookie next time I'm at the grocery store. The chocolate chip cookie is my favorite thus far, because, amazingly enough, it actually tasted like a cookie. A delicious cookie. So go buy some, and eat them up. And no, I wasn't paid to write this. Unfortunately.
Valentine's Day is fast approaching and I am broke and at a loss for ideas. Eep op ork ah ah. Ten points to anyone who knows what that means and where it's from. Also, any V-Day suggestions are mucho appreciated.
Anyway, I'm slowly being drawn into another game of BookWorm, so here endeth the entry. Pet a cat if possible and have a jolly good evening.
