sleep vs. paints
I've been playing SSX Tricky for about... oh, three and a half hours. My eyes have yet to bleed, but they're very dry and my fingers are cramped. I've come to despise the rumble thing in the GameCube controller. It makes me shake in a most unpleasant manner. I just shut the machine off because Alaska was kicking my ass and I couldn't take it anymore.
Yes, I'm weak. Oh so weak.
I'm torn between going to sleep and trying out my new paints. Sleep or paints, sleep or paints? This is the eternal question. Sleep is simple and clean; I change into my pjs, do my bedtime hygiene things, and then crawl into my bed. Once there, I will remain unconscious for at least 8 hours, thus avoiding any and all confrontations with my parents that would eventually lead to domestic chores and/or complaints about the state of my bedroom. Painting is messy and frustrating; I have to find a suitable palette, figure out what to paint, attempt to paint it, become annoyed by my complete and utter lack of painterly skill, swear, throw things, curse the gods for jilting me, and eventually clean up my mess. I will then collapse in a paint-stained heap on my bed, and rise hours later feeling dirty and irritable.
This is such a dilemma.
Yeah, I'm going to bed now. 'Night.
