more filling than a flock of monkeys
This has not been a pleasant evening. I spent the last two hours or so attempting to put together a new design. I love making up new layouts, but writing out the HTML is always a pain in the ass. I'm not good enough at it that I get it right the first time, but for the love of GOD, even a trained monkey would have it worked out after six tries. Maybe I'm just too out of it right now. I'm tired and hungry and my mouth is paying me back for the sprinkles I ate last night. Ugh. If I had more energy I'd rip all my teeth out with a pair of pliers.
I think I'm going to make some soup. Soup sounds good. Hot, yummy vegetarian alphabet soup. Or maybe oatmeal. I don't know, I just want something warm.
I need to locate the disk that contains my old hard drive. It has a lot of pictures and poems and things on it. I can't even begin to imagine where it is, what with the state of my room and all. Probably on the desk somewhere.
I tried to update earlier, but diaryland was being a bitch. I wrote about monkeys and the show I was watching on animal planet. Basically, a horde of monkeys came running out of a window - like a flock of them. It was bizarre. And baby hippos are adorable. I want one. I'd also like a giraffe, if anyone would care to buy me one.
Riiiight.
I bought these shoes tonight. I'm not usually a shoe person - I much prefer sandals, even when it's cold - but I liked these. I got the black because they're much more fun than the red.
Yeah... that's all I have to say right now. So sad. I've had nothing to write about lately, and I don't enjoy it at all. Usually I can manage to blather on about random things for quite a while, but lately it just hasn't been happening. Blah. Go away, "writer's" block. You're a nefarious creature and I want nothing to do with you.
