the secret to pleasant social relations
I've actually been up for almost three hours. How bizarre is that? And it wasn't even very painful this morning. Hmm. Perhaps I'll do this more often; it's kind of nice.
I called the high school and asked if I could stop by and pick up a copy of my transcript to take with my to my interview this afternoon. I got a letter from the college yesterday saying that they haven't received it yet, so I figure it'll be good to arrive with one. I don't know why they haven't gotten it - the woman I talked to this morning said the guidance office sent it out on the 28th of January. That's almost a month ago. It takes one day for mail to go from here to Annville.
This does not compute.
In any case, I'll show up armed with my rather unimpressive transcript, so it doesn't really matter. I'm suddenly wishing that I'd been more active in high school... more clubs and such. I wasn't in many because they didn't interest me, but still, it would have made me seem like a more "well rounded" person. Which I am not. I'm rather set in my ways and not extremely open to new things (unless those new things do not involve people). Meh. No matter. There's nothing I can do about it now, anyway.
After my interview, I'm meeting Adam to hang out for a while. I think we're going to go to Chocolate World and go through the "baking machine" if we have time. It's free, and fun in a goofy, little kid way. And you get chocolate at the end! What's better than that? Not much, in my opinion. Seriously, if people gave me chocolate more often I probably wouldn't be so surly toward them.
