AquaRat, attack!
Well, that was a day. We went to Borders and the Atlanta Bread Company, stopped by his mom's house, and visited my cats at home. And then the trouble started. Adam's headlights had, at that point, dimmed to the point of non-existence, which would have made driving home insanely dangerous, especially on 934. Which happens to be the only way to get to the school. So he parked it at his mom's house, and then my dad drove us back here. Now neither of us has a working car, and we have to talk 2 miles each way to Eckard tomorrow so that I can get this month's pack of anti-baby pills. Forecast for tomorrow: high of 39 with precipitation of the frozen mix variety. FUN.
I got a book at Borders, though, and yummy black bean soup and cheesecake at ABC. So not all was lost. Heh... I just typed "so not ass was lost." It's true - no ass was lost today. No ass is ever lost. My ass will forever remain, because that is the nature of evil beasts from the depths of Hades.
Hmm. You know, when I started this I had more to say. Sort of. We stopped at SuperPetz, and there was the sweetest, most adorable pit bull up for adoption... she isn't good with cats, though, and since we have 4 cats that aren't good with dogs that's kind of a mandatory characteristic. My mom wouldn't get a pit bull anyway, no matter how sweet it was. And oh, this one was. I wanted to scoop her up and love her fo-evah. We also saw a ferret and a chinchilla and many rats and mice. I love ferrets. I had two when I was a kid. I also love rodents, a la rats and mice, and I have no idea how people are scared of them. They're so tiny and cute. I also had a mouse a few years ago. His name was Max and he lived for six whole years. I think that's pretty long for a mouse, right? Aww. I want a rat. I can't have one here unless it's an AquaRat, though.
Anyway. 'Night.
