a headless cat and two pictures
So I picked up the concert pictures at Wal-Mart this afternoon. Guess how many came out? Two. Two fucking pictures. But oh, it gets better. The two pictures are of Joe and myself. In the car. On the way to the concert. I am not pleased.
*sigh* But hey. Whatever. My mom was, for lack of a better word, "touched" that I made her a new cake. I'm glad. All in all, I have pretty cool parents. I could elaborate on why they're cool, but I don't feel like it right now. Blah.
I'm bored. Is anyone home? Joe isn't. I'm going to call Amanda when I'm done with this, although I'm pretty sure she's not home either. It's a gorgeous day out, and I'd like to go to the park or something... but not by myself. Maybe I'll just stay in and read. Or maybe I'll go drive my car off of a cliff in order to avoid my impending dentist appointment (read: torture session).
Oh. On my way home, I saw something very unpleasant. I was driving down the pike, minding my own business, you know... and I see a black cat, dead, in the middle of the road. Unfortunately this isn't an uncommon sight. There was something extra horrible about this one, though - the cat had no head. I was at a red light, so I just sat there, staring at it in what I guess was a mix of anger, grief, and nausea, until the car behind me started beeping. Apparently the light had turned green without my noticing... *shudder* ugh. You don't run over animals, people, especially cats.
