Spring Break plans and other such things
Gah. Today sucked. Tuesdays always suck, due almost exclusively to 2-D Design. Four hours is much too long to be considered human education. It turns me into a drooling idiot, to the point where I can't even think of anything to draw. That's just sad. Professor Pittari will forever be known as He Who Made Me Hate Art, and as such I will hate him passionately for the rest of my young life. I'm sure I'll come to terms with it when I'm older and wiser and then spend the rest of my adult life mourning the fact that I spent my youth being bitter and stupid and holding grudges. Hey, we all need mid-life crisis material, right?
10 days until Spring Break. Oh joyous Spring Break... how I lust for thee. I will not spend my break acting like a drunken idiot on a beach someplace, as I'm sure the vast majority of my fellow students will. Instead, I will spend it painting and decorating my new room, being crafty like the dickens, spending time with Adam and the rest of our wonderful little gang, adopting and playing furiously with a dog, and dutifully searching for a decent summer job. And frankly, my plans sound like a lot more fun than permanently damaging my liver and having my tits show up on the next Girls Gone Wild. Not that I would EVER be on a beach in a bathing suit anyway, and if by some miracle of god I were, I would certainly not be flashing anyone. Especially someone with a video camera. I mean, really. Just how inebriated are these people?
Ahem. I used the phrase "like the dickens" in that last paragraph. I believe I may be channeling my grandmother.
ACK. My god. Birth control pills are disgusted when not swallowed quickly enough. Pamprin are worse, though, because they're approximately the size of a small child. Only rounder. (More round? Whatever.)
Heh. Barry White. I love Season 3. Season 4 comes out on June 10th, and you had better believe that I'll have it pre-ordered and in my grubby little hands as soon as is humanly possible. And then the 5th Harry Potter book comes out on June 21st - it's going to be a fun-filled June, assuming that I can afford any of these things. Then again, I won't be HERE, so all will be well no matter what.
New Buffy in a few minutes, so I'm going to scurry upstairs to Adam's room and prepare for the goodness. The enlightened among you will, of course, be doing the same.
Adieu.
