killing time before my interview
I actually went to sleep before midnight last night. That is such a novel occurrence that it makes my heart go thumpa-thumpa in a most unusual manner. I'm also up before noon. Another "oh, how my heart skips a beat" thing. Yeah. But now I'm showered and things and ready to go. My interview is at noon, so I should leave here are 11:30 or so... which is almost an hour from now... which makes me angry. I want to go. I do not want to sit here and be bored and
wait to leave. That's no fun at all.
Anyway. I'm going up to see Adam tonight (that's the plan, anyway). I hope the weather improves, because I want to go to the park and hang out by the creek. You see, as of right now it is wet and gray and decidedly unpleasant out, none of which is conducive to creek-side amusement. No. So it needs to morph into something nice and sunny and warm before I throw a fit and beat the hell out of it. Because we all know I could take down the weather. Oh yes. In a matter of seconds, even.
This entry sucks. They have lately. Blah. Hopefully I'll have something more to say later than "I'm awake and bored and waiting to leave, and oh, it's foul outside." Heh. Bye.
edited at 11:07 a.m. I had an odd dream last night. I went to see Rufus in concert again (ah, I wish), only this time it was in a big concert hall-type place, and Adam was there with me. We were sitting, watching, listening... you know... and all of a sudden Mr. Wainwright is sitting beside me. Adam doesn't even notice. Rufus is just sitting there, playing with his hair for some reason (?), and he reaches over and grabs my necklace. Not yanking it or anything, but just holding it. He's like, "What is this?" And I told him (it's a very small pentacle). He said that it was beautiful... I can't fathom why... and then he was back up on stage, bowing and doing his thing. Adam got up and ran onto the stage, grabbed the mic, and said something that I honestly can't recall (why? so unfair). Erm. It was a strange dream. Quite.
