would you kindly get the hell out of my way?
Grrr. You can't even trust my family with a cat. Rufus was out running through the yard when I got home. He's not supposed to be outside. He's not fixed, and when Joe takes him back he'll be living in Harrisburg. An outside cat in Harrisburg is as good as dead. I know he must be jealous of the ladies (my cats), because they're outside cats, but I'm sorry Rufus, you can't go outside. Not that the stupid people who live here will stop you. Nooo, let's just leave the door hanging open and shit. Christ. It wasn't too hard to catch him, what with the bell on his collar, but still. It's the principle of the thing.
*sigh* Ugh. Note to my friends: stop buying me junk food. Joe and I went to Dairy Queen for blizzards. Tasty, yes, but now I feel really sick and foul. Blah. We went to Borders, also, where I purchased the coveted Teddy Thompson CD and the new issue of Blender, which has Shakira on the cover. There are some mighty sexy pictures of her inside, too. Mmm. The CD is quite good. Very mellow and folky, with an occasional hint of country. That would usually be vile and turn me off completely, but in this case I'll make an exception. Because you know, it's all about the voice. And a lovely voice it is, so yum.
I need my mom to come home so she can help me fill out this stupid financial aid thing for LVC. Argh. Is it normal to be this unenthused about college? Seriously. I'm not excited. At all. It seems more like a pain in the ass at this point. Maybe that's just because it's still so many months away. Or maybe I'm just a downer and can't get excited about much of anything.
Whatever. I'm going to read Blender and ogle/wish I looked like Shakira. Fun times.
