the attack of the 50-foot nerves
Interview: completed. I think it went all right. I can't say that I was completely smooth or articulating to the best of my ability, and there were certainly some flustered moments, but overall I'd give it a 7.5 or 8 out of 10. It could've gone better, but it also could've gone a lot worse.
Answering important questions on the phone freaks me out.
I sent my transcript request in to LVC, and printed out the one to take to HACC. I need to call CV tomorrow and ask them to send one as well. The woman I talked to said that as soon as they get my transcripts they'll have everything they need, and so I should know if I'm in about two weeks from that point. EEP.
I'd like to say I'm confident, you know? My portfolio review went "very well" (interview lady's words), my interview was decent, and my essay, while not the most stellar piece of prose I've ever written, isn't too shabby. I have a great GPA. In theory, I should be confident. In theory. But theory very rarely applies to my life, so I'm not much with the self-esteem. Mostly I'm just nervous.
I'll know soon enough, I guess.
