the banana splits' comedy hour
So, uh, forgive the utter whine, whine, bitch-fest that was the last entry. I was feeling particularly grouchy. Three hours of sleep followed by the promise of screeching children can do that to you. Anyway. The babysitting wasn't really that bad. Chloe was there, too, so it wasn't too hard to keep them amused. We cut folded paper to make snowflakes, played Hello Kitty rummy, went out to lunch, drew, played video games, etc, etc. It was kind of fun. I still would rather have been sleeping, but hey. Them's the breaks, yo.
My hair looks like ass. Yes, it does. It's currently in two very small Princess Leia-esque buns, as this particular style hides some of its foulness. I'll probably have it in some semblance of a bun or a ponytail until it grows out again. Lovely.
Why do cats enjoy boxes so much? Rufus is squished into a box right now. He's leaning to one side, so half the box is on the ground and half is in the air. It's cute. Gizmo is sitting in a box, also. Her box is entirely on the ground, though, because it's filled with magazines in addition to the cat. Woo.
Er. I don't have to pick Adam up tonight. I hope what I said about being a taxi cab in the last entry didn't offend him; it wasn't directed toward him. Boo. But I'm meeting him after his work thing tonight, anyway, for tea or something. I must consume some sort of caffeine in order to stay awake that long. Flat soda or something (flat is the only way I like soda). Huzzah.
I'm going to figure out what to make for dinner now. Ta ta.
