chitty chitty bang bang
Boo. Tonight wasn't terribly exciting, but it was fun. I went to Joe's, and we proceeded to drive around for 45 minutes, trying to find something to do. We didn't. So we went back and Joe made dinner for Danny, Madeleine, and himself. He's staying with his friend Amber - Danny is Amber's husband, and Madeleine is their little girl. She's so adorable, and she warmed up to me really quickly, which is apparently unusual. I'm not surprised. I'm a kid magnet, despite how I feel about the little brats. Madeleine is cute, though, so it was all right. As it turns out, Danny has a copy of
The Fellowship of the Ring (an illegal copy, so shhh!), so we watched that... I'd forgotten how good it is. I may have to go see it in the theater again. Yesh. Anyway, it was a fun time. Danny's a really cool guy, the baby is great, their dog is cute in an odd sort of way, and it was good to see Joe again. Must do it again sometime soon.
Ow. Have headache. Took aspirin-like things. Aspirin-like things have yet to kick in. Also, my tooth hurts. I would call the dentist and see what he has to say, but I know what he has to say. He'll tell me that I need a root canal, which I may, but which I would prefer to put off as long as possible if such is the case. So... I'll get some ambesol or something. Numb that bitch up.
I dropped my application off at Excitement Video. I hope they call me. The chick behind the counter told me that the manager will be in tomorrow, so maybe I'll even hear from someone before the weekend? That would be mucho grande muy bueno. Heh, I so do not speak spanish. OH, speaking of spanish, Adam sent me a whole letter written en espanol. It's a fun time. He was nice enough to include a translation, too, because as I mentioned, spanish is like yiddish to me. You know, a very foreign thing that I do not understand. Or something like that.
When I came home tonight, Rufus kitty was outside. Again. I walked around for a while, calling his name, and he finally came running up the street toward me. It's cute, his little bell jingles whenever he walks. Anyway, I grabbed the diminutive escape artist and plopped him down inside, as usual. I guess he was pissed or something, because he starting biting the hell out of me. Like going for the jugular, man. Seriously. Then I fed him and he left me alone, though, so all is well.
*pant, drool, orgasm* My beloved Trent is on TV! Good lord. For one, this song (Closer) makes me want to have sex. Freaking hardcore, people. For another, Trent Reznor is the sexiest person on the planet and, should Adam and I ever split (goddess forbid), I will most definitely seek him out and do unspeakable sexual things to him. Yum yum yummy. Alas, even if I weren't attached, I would never have a go at Trent. He's too famous. Poo. Still... I can watch the video collection and multiple orgasm, can't I? Heh. I will see him in concert again. I will I will I will.
Er... yes. Sorry. I let my lust run away with me for a second there. I just don't have enough sex, that's the problem. I swear, I'm going to kidnap Adam's android of a roommate and duct tape him to the bottom of a bridge that's far, far away. That way the room will be empty, and I will get to release all this pent-up sexual energy, and all will be well. So there.
edited at 12:11 a.m. Creed is on VH1 again. *cries* GO AWAY.
edited at 12:26 a.m. Yeah, again. I'm in the process of emailing Adam, and in the email is something that must be posted here because it's really bizarre. Observe:
"OH MY GOD. I just saw a commercial that went as follows: various people go into a piercing parlor to get various body parts poked. A tongue, a septum, and eyebrow. Then there's a statue of crucified Jesus, and across the screen it reads: 'He was pierced because he loves you.' It was a commercial for a church. I am grossly sickened and appalled. I may vomit. Someone needs to explain to me why a church would be advertising itself to begin with. Seriously."
Um, yes, just thought I'd share.
