This cracks my shit up. There are some interesting people in the world, that's for sure.
Dinner with Meghan and Marty was great fun, and much nummy good pizza was consumed. I'll miss Mama's when I leave here, but not even their holy grail-like pizza is enough to keep in this place. Sorry, Mama. Adam and I will visit a few times a month, I'm sure.
In the last entry, I said that I needed to have at least 7 pages done by the time we went to dinner. Well, someone apparently slipped me productivity drugs, because I had the whole 8 pages AND half of the works cited page done before they even got here to pick us up. And it's not a shitty, half-assed excuse for a paper, either, so I'm kind of proud of myself. Eight pages in a total of about 3 hours, with no headaches or whining or unbearable agony. Amazing. It's all done now, printed and stapled and ready to be read through and marked up. Except that she never really marks up my papers, because I've actually had some basic English education and thus can write intelligibly.
I'm aiming to get both my Global Pop and Visual Arts papers done before break next week, because I don't want to have to deal with that shit over a long weekend. I'm nearly positive that Emily is going home, so I plan to enjoy the solitude and that most definitely does not involve doing homework. I also want to have my scarf done by then, so we'll see exactly how much motivation I can squeeze out of myself in the next seven days. The excitement just never ends.
Now, as a reward to myself, I'm going to eat a popsicle, work on my scarf, and watch Bring It On. Shut up, Eliza Dushku is in it and I have a massive girl crush on her.
Cheers.
