now with a pleasant lemony flavor
I'm sitting here scarfing down honey roasted peanuts with an unholy fervor, because I'm hungry and I have no other food. I have a feeling that I'll be taking a walk down to Turkey Hill in a little while to spend my last dollar on something terribly unhealthy, because honey roasted peanuts are delicious and all but they're sort of making me sick. Adam and I were going to go to Mama's for dinner, but neither of us can afford it. Tuesday (payday!) cannot come soon enough.
Last night was spent making burritos and hanging around the house. It was much better than being here at school, I think. Funny how a house with two parents, one sibling, one sibling's friend, four cats, and one dog can provide more privacy than a room with one roommate. I cannot wait to have my own room again... dear god. I get all giddy when I think about it.
The week after break, Adam and I get to stay at his dad's house to watch the dog. I'm excited, because we can sleep together and watch movies and make our own food and things. Also, Adam will get lots of quality time with Samson, which is always good. He's such a cute little dog.
By some miracle of god, Emily isn't here. It's nice. Adam is upstairs working on various papers, so I think I'm going to watch some Buffy and knit. It's a very good combination.
I had more to say when I started this, but now I just want to immerse myself in other things. Like Buffy. And knitting. So I'm going to go do that until Adam comes down to visit me, at which point I'll persuade him to accompany me to Turkey Hill for snacks. I'll update later with the horrifying truth about Emily's construction paper heart project. It's truly an affront to all the laws of god and man. You'll see.
