a ten-point list
Things that I've done today:
1. Take Mason to work; come home.
2. Cut the sides out of a t-shirt.
3. Pick Mason up from work.
4. Pick up my sister and her son Charlie.
5. Drive to Duncannon.
6. Spend an hour and a half surrounded by children and their smell (vomit and milk).
7. Get mauled by a dog.
8. Take my sister home.
9. Bring Mason and Charlie back here.
10. Type up a list of things I've done today.
So exciting. As you can see, most of my day has been spent in the car. Huzzah. I'm so fucking sick of driving. Too bad I have to drive to New Cumberland tonight, in less than an hour actually. I've decided to do this thing with C.C. because even though I'd really rather stay home and mope, getting out and doing something is probably better for my mental and emotional health. So I'm going to meet her at 8:00 and then go from there. I get to do the sound tonight. So basically I get to hold a big microphone on a stick. WOO! Doesn't that sound like oh-so-much fun? Not really, but tomorrow night I get to build a shrine, and that's a little more up my alley.
Well. I have to go clean myself up. I'm all covered in mud and dog hair, because I was petting my sister's neighbor's dog and he got a little excited. I guess he doesn't get much attention or something, because when I tried to leave he leaped on me and pushed me to the ground. It was all in good fun, though. Very cute dog - a chocolate lab with green eyes - and I felt bad for him. His leash was short, his collar was tight, he didn't have food or water. *sigh* He got a little petting and entertainment today, anyway.
Yeah. Mud-scrubbing time.
