send the old bagels to africa
That's what I say we should do with them (see title). Joe popped my bubble when he pointed out that by the time they got there, they'd be hard enough to make into farming equiptment. Hammers and such.
Oh ho. My first real day at work was kind of fun, for work. The day went by pretty fast. Usually time on the job drags on forever, but I was there from 11:30 to 7 and it really wasn't too bad. I learned how to make a latte, a cappuccino, an espresso, and chai. I made various bagel items. Joe and I goofed around; I like basically everyone I work with. Cortez is a bit pushy, but otherwise everyone is cool. And I got to take a dozen bagels and a lemon danish home with me, free o' charge. Too bad Mason ate my freaking danish. Damn him. I went into the bathroom and when I came out it was gone. I should have put a warning on the bag: Danish Thieves Will Be Castrated.
I'm trying to find the Harrisburg bus schedule. It's impossible to find free parking downtown, and unless the weather is brilliant and I have someone to walk with, parking in the residential areas and walking isn't the most appealing of options. I'd take the bus from Carlisle, but none come back late enough to get me home. Hmm. Christ, why is this so complicated? I don't even know where half these places are, and the ones that I do know would require me to be waiting at the bus station no later than 6:51 p.m. - I got out of work at 7 tonight. GAH. I hope it's nice tomorrow. Then I can park on City Island and just walk over. *checks Weather Bug* It's going to rain! Why is the weather conspiring against me?
Argh. Hiss. Boo. Scratch, claw, bite. I am far from being a contented kitty cat right now. I am a little amused, though, by the fact that my mom found porn in Mason's closet. Surprised? Not in the least. But amused, yes, just a wee bit. She also found my wings under his bed, which is now sitting in the living room (he got a new mattress and things). If I were feeling more happy-go-lucky I'd probably want to put them on and frolic. Mer. Maybe another day.
