before bed... a bit of randomness
Why yes, I am updating again. Hoo-freaking-rah. I work tomorrow, of course. I should probably be going to sleep, but screw that. I'm not quite ready to sleep yet. I'm probably going to talk to Roy (manager) about my schedule sometime soon - there isn't one yet, really, but I work tomorrow, most likely Friday, and definitely Saturday. That adds up to about 35 hours, though technically it's more like 37.5 because I always get fucked over when it comes to taking my lunch/break thingy (i.e., I never get one). I was hired as a part-time employee. On my application, and during my interview, I specified that I wanted to work 20-25 hours per week, because there is no need for me to work more than that. I'm lazy and unmotivated and I'd like to slide by with as little effort as possible, thank you. As you can see, they have completely disregarded this information and scheduled me as, basically, a full-time employee. Not quite, but come on, another 2.5 hours and I'd be full time. This makes me a very irritated girl and if things continue as such, I will swiftly remedy the situation or die by meat slicer while trying.
Anyway. We found a car. Well, my parents found a car. They didn't bother to tell me or let me look at it or anything, which pisses me off a bit, but what's done is done. We're going tomorrow to transfer the title and such. I am not at all enthused.
I just heard Rufus' bell jingling and it reminded me that he went to the vet today. He has an ear infection and the flu (the kitty version of it, anyway - fever and the like)... explains why he's been looking under the weather, eh? They gave him a shot of penicillin and my mom has drops to put in his ears, so hopefully the little guy will be fully recovered soon. Then he can get fixed! So exciting. I'm sure that if he knew, he's be thrilled about it also.
Mer. *yawn* I'm very much ready for bed now. Strange how a little diary entry can do that to you. 'Night.
