done with a capital D
It's official: I'm done here. I had my last final this morning, so now all I have to do is pack up and go. And shower, but that'll get done when I finish this.
Both of my finals were pretty much cake, although the one this morning (Visual Arts) was a little harder. Also a lot longer, due to the fact that it was all blocked out into sections that we did at certain times, so even though I was done with the first section I couldn't move on. I think I did pretty well, though, so it worked out.
I can't believe I get to leave. Now I have to go about finding a decent job and all that fun stuff... woo. I'm guessing I'll hibernate for a few days before diving into that - maybe a week of solid sleeping will fortify me for the hell that will surely be seeking employment.
Dammit. They're cleaning the bathroom. I will be forever dirty, it seems. And speaking of, they put up shower curtains in Adam's bathroom. It seems that he held serious sway over Dean Yuhas, because she must have hopped on the phone immediately after he left and demanded shower curtains. Nice gesture, but a bit late.
I'm in the process of buying yarn online. It's been long and arduous, as I am eternally undecided. It's a flaw. I want to make a bag for my mom, you see, but the yarn called for in the pattern is $17.95 per ball. This is hardcore over my budget, so I've been searching for substitutes. I haven't had much luck thus far, but I did run across some very nice yarn at a deeply discounted price. Sure, it's a blah color, but she's a mom - I don't think she'd use a lime green bag. So I'm thinking I can get the cheap but nice yarn in an unspectacular color and give the bag a really bright lining to spice it up.
Yes, I have done way too much thinking about this. I was awake for at least an hour and a half after Adam fell asleep last night, and I spent it working out the details of this bag's construction. I had to do something to distract myself from the incessant giggling and sucking kissy noises coming from Emily's bed. Otherwise my nausea would have gotten out of hand and oh, there would have been a mess.
Anyway... going to shower, if possible. I'll update from home, I guess.
