the migrating smudge
I started to write an entry about an hour ago, but then I somehow managed to close the window in a fit of consolidation. I wasn't very far into it, but still. Annoying. Also annoying is my complete and utter inability to type correctly tonight. Fucking inept, chubby little fingers.
Adam and I saw X2 tonight. I liked it, but since I hardly remember what happened in the first one I was a little confused at points. There's definitely going to be a third movie - the scene near the end with the president and the lighting and the blue folder and shit set it in stone. I was wondering at the theater what you call the third movie in a series, and I still can't figure it out. The second is a sequel... a trilogy is the actual set of three movies... what's the third one actually called? A triqual? I'm guessing not.
I want cookies. Adam tempted me with chocolate chip cookies at his house, but like so many other delicious treats, they turned out to be chock full o' walnuts. I knew it. Now I'm having terrible cookie cravings, specifically of the oatmeal raisin variety, and there's not a damn thing I can do to satisfy them. Grr, argh.
This cracks my shit up in new and impressive ways. Go and be amused.
And now... bedtime. I realize that this entry has blown some incredible ass, but such is life. It's almost 2 o' clock and I'm very tired and I didn't really do anything exciting today anyway. Except for the movie, anyway. I put together Mason's 400-pound Desk In A Box and gave my mom her Mother's Day presents, also. The latter didn't go as well as I'd hoped - I could have given her a clump of potting soil for all she seemed to care. Remind me never to waste money on family members again.
'Night, all.
