a brief re-cap of my day thus far
Hello. I'm back from my registration, and all things considered it went pretty well. We got there at 9 o' clock, and were done with all the morning procedures by... *dum dum duuum* 9:05. Yeah, there wasn't a lot to do. I just had to check in and get my picture taken *gags* for my student ID, so after that I took my mom to Quittie Park. We walked around for about half an hour, through most of the park - I hadn't realized that it was quite so big. It was so nice out today, too. Mmm. Pretty nature places on nice days. After finally wasting almost two hours, we headed back for the rest of the scheduled activities. I went to two little seminars and then scheduled my classes. I thought that I was going to have to take the scary math placement test, but thank god, I didn't. Whew. So all was well. Tentative schedule for this fall:
Monday - Elementary French I, 7-9:30 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - Intro to Anthropology, 8-8:50 a.m.; Intro to Digital Communications, 11-11:50 a.m.
Tuesday, Thursday - English Communications I, 9:30-10:50 a.m.; Elementary Statistics, 2-3:20 p.m.
Not too bad, really. Today was the second registration day, however, so a lot of the classes that I wanted were full. Alas. I'll just try again in the spring. I got four of my required courses out of the way, though, which is nice. I'll probably end up taking another math class and an environmental science class, because although I despise math, I'm not that bad at it if I try. It's either that or two sciences, and all the sciences that they offer scare me. I don't do dissection, I don't care about electrons and molecules, and the very mention of "physics" sends me screaming into the night with my pantyhose over my head, so... math it will be.
Anyway. I don't really have much else to say, as I haven't done anything else yet, so I'm going to stop writing this now. More later, if there's anything to report, or if I'm particularly bored. Either way.
edited at 5:01 p.m. "Cherry Motifs" and "HARRISBURG PORN BOOK SHOP." Two searches I got today - the first from Google, the second from Yahoo. Heh. Put the two together and it's especially amusing.
