death to my lack of self-control
Okay. Gyno = no fun. I'm weird and it always hurts. My doctor is really nice, though, so it's less stressful and traumatizing that it possibly could be. I scored two free packs of birth control, in any case, and that almost makes it worth it when you consider that two packs would cost me $70. Sheesh. And they say raising a child is expensive.
Anyway. I talked to Joe about the NY thing, and my confusion has been dispelled. Due to the fact that I am extremely stupid, I neglected to take into consideration that the show is filmed before it's aired, thus making Coal Chamber the musical guest on the 21st and Rufus the musical guest that's being filmed on the 21st. Yeah, duh. I'm such a moron. But now I know what's going on, so it's all good. We both took off work on the 21st and 22nd, because we have to leave on the 21st around noon and we probably won't be back until way too early the next morning. I refuse to come home all tired and blissed out on Rufus and then go to work and lose my "buzz" right away. No siree. I'm excited. Quite. This'll be my third time seeing him - can you believe it? Freaky.
The diet sabotage that I committed last night continued into this afternoon. Oh yes. Everything was normal until I got to work. It's always normal until I get to work. Fucking pastry case. A slice of black forest cake, 2 rugulas (little finger pastries), a chocolate chip cookie, and a peanut butter cookie. Do you realize how damaging the last 24 hours have been? Jesus christ. When I get my check tomorrow, I'm putting $40 aside to join the gym. No waiting, no vacillating, no putting it off until the next check. I need to get my ass on a treadmill, ASAP. Grrr.
I must go work on my secret project.
End.
