completely random randomness
Yes, I'm still reading that book. Yes, I do hope to finish it someday. I've been embarrassingly slow in reading it for a few reasons... it's chock full o' philosophical jargon that's not terribly interesting to me even in relation to Buffy, and as much as I've been deadly bored, I guess I've also been preoccupied. I haven't really read for pleasure in quite a while. I need new books. Calling all god-like forces - there's just one more reason why I should work at Borders.
The weather was crappy again today. Grey and rainy and unwarm. Not cold, or even slightly chilly... just unwarm. It's a good word, even though I'm pretty sure I bastardized the English language and made it up. Adam and I went to Panera Bread for lunch, and then came back here for some quality alone time. It was nice. I'm looking forward to our sleepover, even though I'll probably be on the rag for the duration. Fucking womanhood.
My mom is working tonight, Mason is at a friend's house, and god only knows where my very potentially imaginary father is. Not here, that's for damn sure. It's like I have no family. And as much as I'm usually okay with not seeing them, it's starting to get to me that I'm always alone in this house. Must get job. Must move out. Must must must.
I need to walk down to Joe's in a bit and drop off a book for his sister. She's a weird kid. A really, really weird kid. I have a feeling I'll end up watching hours upon hours of Buffy (Season Four, of course) with them, even though I'm halfway through the fifth disc and we'd be starting on the third. Blah.
I have sew-on velcro someplace, but I can't find it. It's annoying. I need to finish up the knitted head scarf thing that I made a few days ago, and that's the easiest way to close it. I'm not much for the ties - I always end up getting my hair caught up in the knot that I'm tying.
This entry has been completely pointless. Gah. End.
