care to dance with Mr. Moppie?
Explain to me this phenomenon: There are two gas stations that are very nearly directly across the street from each other. One is selling regular unleaded gas for $1.23 per gallon; at the other, it's $1.34. And yet people still go to the more expensive one. Why? I don't get it.
Anyway. Work was... eh, all right. Joey decided to not show up, so it was just me and Stewart all day. Thankfully we were pretty slow; otherwise, we would have absolutely died. Boss Joe slipped each of us $10 before we left as a "thank you" for being so good about it, which was uncharacteristically nice of him but much appreciated regardless.
Pat, Bryan, and I are going to the Carlisle Friendly's tonight to see Amanda. Adam was supposed to come, but he's got family activities tonight until 9-ish and then has to be at work at 7 tomorrow morning, so he's sitting this one out. I think we all might gather again tomorrow night, though, so that's cool.
Hmm... sadly, that's about all I have to say. You don't tend to accrue many interesting anecdotes when you spend all day at work. When you spend all day at my work, anyway. I'll update later.
