who does the cookie monster think he is?
It's 7:30 and I'm up. On a day when I don't work. One could really start to question my sanity about now. But alas, my mind is still relatively intact. Adam works early this morning, so I got up a little while after he did to say goodbye and what not. Now I just can't go back to sleep. It's just as well, though, because now I get to spend the entire morning watching Buffy. Woo! I'm excited. Mighty excited, even.
Amanda told me to call her when I woke up, but somehow I think she assumed I wouldn't be up until later. Heh. I'll give her a call around 10 or so and see what's "going down." I should probably also call my mom and see if any family shindigs are going on today, since it is the 4th of July and all. Not that I'll go to them or anything, but it's always good to know what you're missing. That way you have even more fun doing what you're doing instead of being there, because you know for sure that being there would have sucked. You know?
I have a boston creme donut upstairs. I got it at the grocery store last night, but for some reason I haven't been in a donut-eating mood. Bizarre. I've also got a bag of Dove "Promises" or whatever the hell they're called. The miniatures. I've definitely been in the mood for those. Yum yum. I'm such a chocolate fiend. Eventually, I do want to make the transition from vegetarian to full-on vegan. I can give up milk, I already don't eat eggs, and I'm pretty sure I can live without cheese, but seriously, chocolate's going to be IT. The challenge, the hard part, the thing to beat. Yes, I know, some dark chocolate is vegan. But I don't really dig dark chocolate, so where does that leave me? Giving up chocolate entirely would be a good decision weight-wise, of course, but come on. This is me we're talking about. So... yeah. I don't know what the point of this is. I like chocolate? Yes I do. A lot, in fact. Call me Baroness de Chocola. Bring me yummy, rich, melty, chocolate goodness or I'll have your filthy peasant head on a pole in my Royal Garden of Filthy Peasant Heads.
Buffy calls. Cheers!
