if only this were a historical fiction
I think I'm going to cry. I just finished the last disk of season two. *sobs* This is so sad. I mean, what happened to Angel in the last episode was sad, but that's not what I mean. I mean that this - this being the fact that I have no more new Buffy to watch - is an atrocity. It's an affront to all the laws of man and nature, or something like that. Aww, Willow's so cute.
So now I'm just here. I'll probably take Sam for a small walk in a bit, but after that I'll once again be just here. Maybe I'll call Joe and see if he wants to go to the bookstore. Or maybe I'll just go myself. I kind of don't feel like driving, though. Grrr. I'm looking around online for Buffy t-shirts and things, because I want one. Or twelve, you know.
Hmmm. Noooo! I just saw that scary flying cat picture. Amanda, you know what I mean. *shudders* Cats are not meant to move like rocket launchers! It's just so very wrong.
I've come to the conclusion that soy dogs are pretty tasty. I don't really remember what hot dogs taste like, so the fact that they probably aren't dead-on replicas of the real thing doesn't bother me. Adam bought some the other day, I guess because I've always said that I wanted to try them but was kind of afraid. I don't know. The thought of eating a hot dog freaked me out. But it's not a hot dog, so I guess my freaking out was unwarranted. Like always. But yeah, they're not bad. I might have one for lunch/dinner, actually. I'm not quite sure what meal it would be if I ate it at four - dinner? Probably. I wonder that sometimes, especially when people eat "dinner" at like 2 o' clock. Er... no. That's a late lunch, dears.
I was going to write about something, but it seems to have slipped my mind. Dammit. Oh, right, the box thing. We went to the bagel shop to pick up my check this morning, and 4th steet (right outside the shop) was all blocked off with caution tape and police cars and shit. Roy said that there was a box on the side walk; I guess it looked suspicious of something, because the cops were certainly making a big deal of it. I don't know. I mean, yes, it's good to be cautious, but come on. Sometimes a box is just a box. Just because some crazy Middle Eastern folk flew a plane into the World Trade Center doesn't mean that every box is automatically a bomb. You know? Grab some perspective.
Ho hum. Another Google hit: "Ruby Tuesday's veggie burger." Yuck. Those things are awful. Don't ever order one, ever. You'll be horribly traumatized if you do. Honest. Just look at me. I took one bite and I haven't been the same since.
