can you hear the tapping of the keys? I can!
Today has been a good day. Weird. I went to Massey's for ice cream a little while ago with my dad and Mason. They didn't have either of the cheesecake custards, curse them, but they did have cherry vanilla, which is almost as good. Almost. I basically spent the afternoon/evening listening to music, reading, and drawing. My jeans are coming along nicely - I'll upload pictures of them sometime. But I've been decorating my jeans forever, so that's nothing new. The amazing thing is that I actually sat down and drew in my sketchbook. I haven't done that in forever, seriously. I don't know why. Lack of ideas, I guess, but that's really not true. Lack of faith in my ability to produce something above shit-level is more along the lines of honesty. But I drew a few things, and one of them makes me sort of happy. It's a cute little chick with a scarf. She's
here if you'd like to see her. It's just a simple sketch, but I like it. I think I like the scarf best of all. For some reason I'm incredibly pleased with the scarf. Hmm.
I don't work tomorrow, but I'll probably pop in at some point to take Roy the cookies I'm going to make him tonight. He's coming back from a week-long vacation, and I'm very glad he's doing so. I mean, I don't begrudge the man his vacation - he works like 72 hours a week - but the place was so empty without him. I love Roy. He's the best manager I've ever had, no jokes. If anyone deserves some cookies, it's him. And Adam, who will also be receiving some. Speaking of the boy, he's planning to go to Media Play at like midnight to get LoTR on DVD. Fare well, brave soldier. May the mass of rabid fans clutching Frodo action figures do you no harm.
On the Ebay front, I won and paid for my Buffy shirt - woo! I emailed the seller of the Pucca wallet to see about paying with PayPal, which I can do for these few things because my parents have an account. I signed up for one, but until I have some money in my checking account it's pretty useless. Next paycheck, I swear. Though I should be swearing off Ebay with the fervor of a born-again Christian and saving these last few checks to keep me in gas until I find a job around Annville. Ah, the shame of knowing the best course of action and defying it in favor of cute Korean accessories. It burns my frivilous little heart, I swear to you.
Well, Adam's on the phone now, so I'm going to leave you. 'Night.
