my vote goes to the starving Ethiopians
Tonight has been fun. Lots of fun, I dare say. Adam came over after he got off work, and since we couldn't go watch the meteors (due to unexpected rain and cloudiness) we just hung out here for a while. Also, we went to Giant and got into some grocery store hijinks. Because we have fun like that. I got an inordinate amount of yogurt and pudding, and the most orgasm-inducing shampoo and conditioner I've ever encountered. Seriously. They're - *gasp* - chocolate mint "flavored," and in these alien-esque bottles that I'm definitely putting to use as something decorative once they're empty. See, look, straight from the company homepage:
Isn't that the funnest thing ever? Yeah, I think so too. Lathering chocolate mint goodness into my hair is going to be positively, ooh, sinful. Herbal Essence ain't got shit on this.
Ahem. So yes, I had a super fantastic time with Adam tonight. We rape the doors with our skulls, yes we do.
In other news, Rufus is still missing. I'm... not a happy camper. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that I'm that manic depressive weird kid in the corner who doesn't want to go to the bonfire because it would expose his devilish desire to char his fellow campers until their skin flakes off like confetti. I miss my cat. I'm becoming emotionally unstable because I don't know what's become of my beloved furball. I want to wake up in the morning and open the door and see him laying all sprawled out on the chair, fluffy and very much alive. Because I'm starting to get a very bad feeling. Like something's happened to him, because I can't think of any other reason why he wouldn't be here. Err. <--- Sad noise. If there is a god, and he/she/it cares to humor me, they will hear my sobbing pleas to bring my kitty home and act accordingly. Otherwise... well, no. There is no otherwise. I don't want to think about the otherwise.
Le sigh. I've been up for almost 24 hours now. Freaky. I should probably go to bed soon, actually, because I have to get up around 9. So I'll do that now, I think. 'Night.
(Thing positive kitty-coming-home thoughts!)
