Bugle the Wonder Beagle devours school children
So, my stint as "Girl With Nothing To Say" continues. This is just sad. It's not like I'm leading a full and captivating life or anything... I'm just lacking topics. I don't want to whine about being unemployed. I don't want to talk about my parents splitting up. And detailing the happenings of my day would get boring even if my life didn't suck. So what am I to do? Not write, I guess. A pretty crappy solution, I'll admit, but I highly doubt anyone really misses reading my disjointed ramblings.
But now I am writing, although I can't promise quality. School starts back in T minus four days, which is really frightening. I still need to get supplies (pens, notebooks, etc.), pick up one last book, do loan deferment stuff, get my ID and parking pass thing, and get a haircut. That last one is especially vital, because the last haircut I had was in December of 2002 and it's really starting to show. I also may be taking a mini-trip to Virginia with Adam and the Joes this weekend... I'm not entirely sure yet. It would be nice to go to the beach for a few days before heading back to school, but it would also be cutting things distressingly close. We shall see.
Speaking of the Joes, they took Adam and I out to dinner tonight as a "thank you" for taking care of Jupiter while they were in Canada. We went to Passage to India, which I love because I can actually order more than two things on the menu. I now have a huge vat of leftover vegetable biryani in the fridge, waiting to become tomorrow's lunch. I got to dress up a little, and a record THREE people (Adam, Joe, and my mom) told me I looked pretty. You may not see the shock factor here, but trust me, this just doesn't happen. Adam's my boyfriend and he never tells me that I look pretty. It's not something I hear often, if ever. So that was a nice little confidence-boosting surprise.
Gak. Mason will be kicking me offline any second, so I should end this before it's ended for me. Tomorrow is (hopefully) a haircut and taking care of stuff at HACC. Exciting, I know. I'll try to update in a timely fashion. 'Til then, adieu.
