live nude girls! (except without the nude part. sorry.)
Man, I really don't write here much anymore. I remember at LVC I used to write like three times a day. Now I'm going 5 DAYS between entries. That's some kind of fucked up.
But here I am now, kids. I'm not dead or anything. Just always either preoccupied with school or too bored to write or, on occasion, actually doing things with real human people that prevent me from bonding with my Big Black Box o' Joy. That's right - real people! Live ones! New ones, even! And I'm not even making this up.
Like today I met up with Deb to go to The Art Store and then down to the school to help her mix her developer for Photo tomorrow. While there, we ran into Kirsten and Cassie and made plans to hang out here tonight and watch either Pocahontas or Family Guy. Deb and I got Chinese food, went to the store to procure snacks (cookies!), and then walked around so I could take the last of my pictures for tomorrow. Then we waited around for everyone else, because apparently it was written in stone by jesus himself that I am not allowed to have punctual friends. But whatever. They all got here eventually, and Cassie brought Hannah with her, which was fun. We didn't end up watching anything at all, but instead just sat around and talked and stuff. It was good times.
It's interesting, the people that I've fallen in with so far. There's Deb, who reminds me a little bit of Joey, what with being loud and assertive and generally kind of in your face. It's nice, though, 'cause I'm not like that at all and so I find it refreshing. Kristen looks like Barbie. And also Lindsay Lohan, except prettier and less bitchy and without the fake melon boobs and uber-tanned orange skin. She's girly and fun and someone who, just looking at her, I would never have thought I'd be friends with. But I like her a lot, so obviously you can't go on looks alone. Cassie is freakin' adorable. She's just so damn cute! She always wears fun earrings and makes kick-ass bags and generally rocks. Hannah I don't really know as well, but she's in my Western Art class and seems very cool.
We're all pretty different, but you know what they say about variety.
(And you know I'm such a Buffy dork that I can't stop myself from thinking, "Variety is the spice of bad.")
So it was a pretty fun day, in all. And Adam is coming up tomorrow - yay! Tomorrow is also our 46th monthiversary, so we'll probably go to a movie or out to dinner or something. Good times.
I'm going to mess around in Illustrator tomorrow and then read about dead people for a bit before bed. Stiff is a really good book, I'd definitely recommend it.
