the townsfolk frighten me
It's really sad when a phone call at 11 o' clock wakes you up. My mom called this morning, at 11, to say that my registration sticker has finally arrived. And that she got me a phone card. Heh, I guess that's a hint? Call home more! But that's cool. I might drive down later tonight and visit for a while, because I'm going through serious furry feline withdrawal. I need kitties! We shall see.
Last night was spent snacking on chocolatey treats and watching half of Mulan. Only half because I was seriously falling asleep, and so we just went to bed. Maybe this evening can be spent doing much the same thing, only with some pizza and cheesy bread thrown in. Yum. However, at some point I need to write my English essay... it's due on Tuesday. Grr. I've sort of decided that I'm going to write about geisha (we're supposed to "write to report information," you see), so at least I've got a topic that I'm relatively familiar with. I also have to start researching junk for my Anthro portfolio thing... 10 items and a 6-8 page paper. Yuck. It would be nice if I knew when it was due, also, but alas.
Okay, I just got back from brunch with Adam (I left this entry sitting while I ate... sorry), and... weird. There are families there. Like old people and parents and little kids. I do not understand. It was very, very strange and uncomfortable, but I got the yummy hashbrown triangles and french toast sticks, so I shan't complain.
I'm going to try and dig up some stuff for my paper. Cheers.
