they took the damn plants!
The last 4 hours have been dramatically more enjoyable than the entire weekend that preceded them. Adam got back around 6, bearing presents and lots of soda. Apparently there was this huge, orgasm-inducing Asian import store in Virginia, and because Adam is a very sweet boy, he brought me fun things. Stickers and stationary and a pen and pencil set with Pucca on them! And Chococat band-aids! Yay. As for the soda, it seems that there were like 5 cases leftover from the wedding reception deal, and since no one else wanted them, he got them. It's sort of funny - it's all stacked up in his trunk. Heh.
We went to Mama's for dinner, and then to Wal-Mart for a cheap plastic adventure. It was fun. I got lots of snacks - crackers and two kinds of granola bars and Skittles and Gushers. Yum. Adam got cereal (either Franken Berry or Boo Berry, I forget which - I think Franken Berry) and a 5th Avenue bar. Will someone explain to me what the difference is between a 5th Avenue and a Butterfinger? Because they seem exactly the same - peanut butter nastiness covered in chocolate. Am I missing something really obvious, or are these two candy bars just eerily similar? Answer, please.
There's a really fun show on the Discovery Channel - an investigation of the murder of King Tut. I love me some forensic archaeology. Adam is sleeping over tonight, too, so I'm quite the giddy little girl.
There's not much else to report, so I'm going to return to watching TV and attempt to read some of my Digicom junk for tomorrow. 'Night.
