good news and bad news
Le sigh. Tonight has been decent, I suppose. Buffy was cool. The skin-eating demon ate some of Willow's tummy skin! Dude. There are few things that I can think of that would be worse than being skinned alive and not even being able to scream for help. Uck. But I liked it, oh yes I did, for in my eyes Buffy can do no wrong. Well, that's untrue. It can do wrong on occasion, but those occasions are very rare, so it's almost not even worth mentioning. So retract my mention of it and we will move on.
I have to be up at 6:30-ish. I should really be asleep. Alas. I went to the computer lab after Buffy to scan things. I not officially hate that scanner. It's fine for sketches and stuff, but I tried to scan two larger things and they came out horribly. I had to scan each one in four pieces, and then reassemble them... easier said than done, especially when the scanner you use decides to tint the edges of each scan a weird green-gray color. So basically I don't know if I'll even be able to post those here, which sucks. I could take a picture and scan that (or use a digital camera), but that's unappealing to me. Bah. Stupid scanner.
Did you know that aphids are born pregnant? I found that out tonight. Also, nine-banded armadillos always have sets of four genetically identical offspring. Oh, those wacky armadillos. Nature never ceases to amaze me.
Good news: Emily is indeed going home over break. Woo! Woo x 6,000,000^23!
Bad news: I'm going to miss Chloe's 6th birthday party. It's at 5 o' clock on Saturday - just when Joe and I are probably going to be leaving for the concert. I'm going to try to stop by in the early afternoon and see her for a while, but it really sucks that I can't go to the party. Chloe is my favorite niece, and it would have been fun. Adam was invited and everything.
Good news: I think I did pretty well on the Statistics quiz. It wasn't as in-depth or complicated as I expected it to be.
Bad news: Both my French and Anthro tests will contain material that we just learned. And by "just learned," I mean literally just learned, like yesterday for French and Monday and tomorrow for Anthro. How much does that suck? Oh, it sucks a lot, let me tell you.
Good news: There are now only 6 classes, 2 tests, and 1 English paper standing between me and Fall break.
Bad news: I haven't finished the draft of my English paper yet. I wrote the first three pages in one sitting, just about, but now the last two are being very slow to show up.
Good news: I'm going to bed now.
Bad news: This entry is over. 'Night.
