cupcakes = evil. lather, rinse, repeat.
The devil is not in the details. The devil? Is
totally in the cupcakes. There is no doubt in my mind.
Man, it was the hardest thing ever to get up this morning. It was so cold and my bed was so comfy... how come my bed is always more comfortable in the morning? I mean, it's an okay bed, but when it's time to get up it feels like I'm sleeping on a giant fuzzy rabbit or something. Way too nice. It's a problem, honestly. But I did make it to class, sans shower unfortunately, but my bear hat covered the atrocity that is my unwashed hair. I got my midterm back - 95.5%. I'm pretty happy with that, I guess. Actually, no, that's a lie. I'm a little disappointed, truthfully. I got all these annoying little half-points taken off for not putting the location of things. I didn't even know we were supposed to list that crap. Whatever. Cassie and Hannah were making fun of me because I'm not happy about my 95, but you know what? I'm super anal-retentive about my grades. It's a personal standards issue. I thought I was going to do better than I did, hence the disappointment. But it's what I've got, so... yeah. It's fine.
After class I stopped by Coe Camera to pick up a grey card. For those of you who aren't photo geeks, a grey card is a piece of mat board-weight stock that's 18% grey. It's very boring. You meter from it sometimes, especially when using the Zone system. Which we are. So, grey card. It's useful, I suppose. But I'm kind of mad, because I just paid $4.93 for a square of grey cardboard. A square of grey cardboard that I may or may not ever use again after this class. GRRRR.
Shut up. Five bucks is a lot when you're poor and have no gas in your car.
The rest of the day will be spent catching up on homework. Taking the rest of my pictures for class, finishing my center spread layout for Graphic Tech, drawing up the rest of the layout roughs for the same project, and reading some stuff. Fun. I might swing by Salvation Army and check out the cardigan selection at some point, but I'm not sure I should really spend the money. Which is just sad.
Alas. But my mom is coming up tomorrow to take me shopping for some winter clothes, which is nice. I am in dire need of jeans and a coat, and some long-sleeved things that aren't heavy sweaters. Good times.
Well, the shower calls. Be good, children.
