she's got a soft spot for heels and spurs
Bleh. It's cold and rainy and generally very unpleasant outside. And I'm really, really hungry all of a sudden. Hrm. You know what that means - ranch dip! But not by itself, of course. With lime tostitos or carrots. Mmmm. Yeah, as soon as I'm done with this, the ranch dip will be mine.
I'm gradually starting to comprehend the incredible amount of work I have to do before Thanksgiving break. I have a website project due in Digicom tomorrow, along with a rough draft of my part of the Herco project... a 5 to 6 page English paper due next Tuesday (but I need a completed rough draft by this Friday)... and a gabillion pounds of crap for Anthro. That's the one that's going to bite me in the ass for procrastinating. I have two papers, one very daunting project, and a test within the next three weeks. GAH. Someone help me, please. Please? I'll give you a cookie, I promise. Maybe even two cookies.
On a slightly brighter academic note, I still have a B in Statistics, even after getting a stunning 73% on the last quiz. You know... it's not so traumatic to do badly when you KNOW that you're going to do badly, but when you go in thinking that you really know what you're doing, getting a 73% is a big, fat slap in the face. It's like, "Ha ha! Everything you know is wrong!" Grr. But I've still got a B, albeit a very low B (two points lower and I'll be back in the C range), so I shan't complain too much.
Well, my dear readers (all three of you), I'm going to go attack the ranch dip with an unmatched ferocity and wait for Adam to get back from his advisor thing. He's picking classes today, you see. After that we're off to FYE (formerly The Wall, I believe) to get him the new Pearl Jam album. Fun times, yo. I'll write later.
