let's read my obituary
listening to... Soul Coughing,
El Oso.
reading... tex and molly in the afterlife, by Richard Grant.
feeling... nondescript.
How exactly is it that I've had two facial piercings with no trouble at all, and yet now my ear, of all things, is being a bitch? It's swollen and sore and it was purple this morning. Amanda told me I should change them, but I can't get them out. *curses the offending ear* Stupid ear. Stupid safety backs.
I'm talking to Amanda right now, incidentally. An amusing snippet:
spannishdoll: and i keep poking at it
spannishdoll: like squeezing it. i can't help it
CheshireKittie01: ah! dude.
CheshireKittie01: we both have boyfriends!
spannishdoll: lol... yes
spannishdoll: does this come as a suprise to you?
CheshireKittie01: no, just a sudden realization
spannishdoll:> ahh. i see.
spannishdoll: *pats you on the head* good girl.
CheshireKittie01: pooonugget
*laughs* I don't know why I posted that here.
So I changed the font. Made it bigger. Some people commented that it was too tiny, so now it's not. :) I like it small; I wish there was a size between this and what I had, but if there is I'm unaware of it. Oh well. Something else about this design - the image of Drew. It doesn't load sometimes. At least, for me it doesn't. It's not broken or anything, it just doesn't load. Usually it's if I try to go back and forth between entries or something. It's kind of irritating... does this happen to anyone else? It needs to stop.
Anyway. Adam and I are going job-hunting tomorrow. He wants to find a job over Christmas break, because he'll be home from school and everything. It'll be good. I really need to start busting my ass and getting applications in, but I have a feeling that I won't do it for quite a long time unless I have some outside motivation. I'm like that with things - very lazy. It's a horrible thing. Probably my fatal flaw. When I die, my obituary will read as follows:
Amanda was born in Harrisburg, PA on July 16, 1983. She had an unpleasant childhood, but grew up to be a rather well-adjusted teenager, all things considered. She graduated from high school in 2001 and eventually went to College X, where she majored in X. After college she went on to hold a series of mindless jobs, always dreaming of something more but never taking action. She died in 2065 at the age of 82; her dreams died with her.
The end.
