string cheese and a phone call
listening to... Tori Amos,
Boys for Pele.
reading... tex and molly in the afterlife, by Richard Grant.
feeling... kind of tired, but good.
So my plan to wake up at 8 a.m. and start my day early didn't happen. Well, technically I did wake up at 8:30, but I went back to sleep and didn't actually get out of bed until 10:30. Bad. Shame on me! :( Oh well. Ten is better than noon, isn't it?
I went over to Adam's at around one, and we settled in to watch our "adult film." It was hilarious! I mean, it sucked, but it was so bad that it was funny. I think the idea of porn turns me on more than actually watching it. Because really, it was a bit foul. We got Satyr, starring the ever-popular Jenna Jameson. There was this scary man with a really long tongue who grunted and growled the whole time. I guess it was supposed to follow the whole "animal lust" theme, but it just sounded like he was in pain. This Asian chick wore a birdcage on her head - that was kind of cool. At the end, though, the maid got to wear the birdcage and the Asian chick was demoted to being the maid. Ahh, sweet justice. *laughs* But yeah. It was too funny. I don't think I'll ever buy any again unless I'm looking for a laugh.
There was much activity after that, but I won't go into it because I'm not really sure that anyone wants to read about my sex life. Let's just say that it was muy bueno, and leave it at that. ;)
The main reason I was over there today - other than the obvious - was to work on foul math. My SAT is in 7 days! *faints* Oh my. Math is not my thing at all, but we did a lot today - about two hours worth. Studying is a pain in the ass, but I'll admit that it makes me feel good to actually do it. It's nice to sort of know what's going on instead of just starting at the page like it's written in Arabic, you know? I've still got a looooong way to go before I'm ready for the test, but now that I'm more into this studying thing I think I'll be okay. As long as I don't bomb completely and score like a 150 I'll be happy.
Here are the Factoids for today:

The dead have feelings like everybody else.

The dead can make love. It's heaven.
Afterlife Factoid #14
Being dead takes some getting used to.
I don't know why I've been posting those in here. I guess they intrigue me. Besides, this book kicks ass - I'd post the whole thing here if I could. Unfortunately, though, I believe that's illegal, and even if it wasn't I'd go nuts before I could copy it all.
I think I'm going to eat some string cheese. Mmm. I love string cheese. We have two kinds in my refrigerator right now - regular, and filled. The filled variety apparently has pizza sauce in the center. I've never tried those. They frighten me.
Whoa. How weird was that? The phone just rang and the conversation went as follows:
Me: Hello?
Caller: Hi.
Me: *hesitates* Hi.
Caller: Do you know who this is?
Me: Yes... I think...
Caller: No you don't. It's Angie.
Me: I knew that.
*laughs* There was a bit more, but that's the part that amuses me. Angie and I were best friends in the early years of high school, but then she dropped out in 11th grade and we just went our separate ways. I haven't seen or spoken to her since sometime in the summer, and that experience is not something that I wish to repeat. Anyway. She was calling to ask if I had someone's phone number. I do not. End of story.
I just thought that was kind of random.
