this entry is brought to you by the letters C, A, and T
I not in the mood to write a whole lot, so I tried to draw some random things to put up here instead. It didn't work out. I'm browsing through -
WHOA, hold it. My brother just brought home a kitten. A wee baby kitten that apparently followed him home of its own accord. It's the cutest thing in the world... right now it's in the bathroom, which will be its home for the night, eating voraciously and being adorable. I don't think it likes to be alone in there, though - there is much meowing.
I have pictures:
Isn't that the best thing ever? I wish I could give it a home, but alas... four cats is about two too many as it is. My first thought was that I'll take it to the Helen Krause Foundation tomorrow, which is a no kill shelter in Dillsburg. My second thought was that maybe, just maybe, Adam and his mom would take it in. His mom likes having the kitties around, but when his sister comes back from Hawaii in a few weeks she'll be taking them home. Sooo... maybe his mom would be interested in a tiny little kitten with no place else to go? Maybe? I'd love to find this fluff ball a home instead of carting it off to the shelter, but either option is better than being a stray kitten during this particularly cold and snowy stretch of winter.
I feel bad leaving it alone in the bathroom all night... argh, I get the distinct feeling that I'm going to be staying up all night, kitty-sitting. I need sleeeeeeeep, dammit. Sleep! Not stray kittens. I mean, I don't necessarily MIND stray kittens - I enjoy kittens of any kind, actually - but why do homeless animals always find their way to my house at such godawful hours of the morning?
Anyhow, I'm off to do one of two things - sleep or stay up with the kitty. But I think the kitty is sleeping as I write this, so the second option is probably not going to happen. I wish my toothbrush and things weren't in the bathroom, though, dammit.
Oh. This is completely off-topic, but go see Spirited Away if you get the chance. It's a Disney movie unlike any Disney movie I've ever seen. It's great.
G'night, all. Wish the kitty good luck in finding a loving home and such.
