random things
Home again, home again. My night at Adam's was very nice indeed - I wish it could be a more regular occurrence. We rented
Freeway and two GameCube games, which provided some good entertainment. Super Monkey Ball is silly, but quite addictive. I'm not so good at it, though. We also dyed my hair - bad idea. I wanted to dye it something close to my natural color, because I haven't seen it in ages, so I picked up a darkish brown and went to it. Uh uh. My lovely dark brown came out almost black. It always does when I try to dye it brown; I don't know why I thought it would be any different this time. It looks rather hideous. Adam kept trying to tell me that it doesn't, but he's my boyfriend, he
has to say that. Blah.
On a more pleasant note, we ended up staying in bed until about noon today. I don't so much enjoy sleeping that late by myself, but with someone else it's absolutely delicious. The activities that caused such a late rising were pretty nice, too - only now my thighs hurt really freaking bad. *laughs* Oh well. Comes with the territory, I guess.
I'm trying to get ahold of Joe, to see if he wants to go to a movie tonight. Vanilla Sky is playing at 10:30 p.m., and we both want to see it, so that would be cool. Hopefully he'll be home before then. Of course, with my luck he's probably working until 2 a.m., and I'll be stuck here with absolutely nothing to do. As per usual. Maybe I'll make a space for my easel and paint or something. I've been very unproductive lately.
I called Borders yesterday, and I was informed that they're only hiring part time for the cafe. I'd work in the cafe, but I'd have to take my nose ring out, so that's a no go. Poo. Now I have to find some other place. Adam said that CD Warehouse is hiring, so maybe I'll apply there.
I think I'm going to take a bath. A bubble bath, even. Mmmm. That sounds like a nice, warm thing to do.
