"I'm on vacation! Oh, and if anyone asks, I'm addicted to smack."
Soooo, my only obligation this afternoon is to watch a truckload of Season 3 Family Guy. I like days like this. Of course, I'd like it better if Adam were here watching it with me, instead of being a lens-slave at work, but such is life. And he'll be back tonight, at which point the snuggling and smooching and gratuitous sexual content can commence.
I go back to school on Wednesday. Monday I want to go out and put in a few job applications. At some point I need to call my dad and ask him to stick some money in my bank account, as I have just enough to pay my bills but none to buy a few key items that I direly need. Like deodorant. I'd say that pretty much a necessity, wouldn't you? Yeah. And I'm thisclose to running out. So that call has to be made shortly, lest a smelly, cranky beast be unleashed upon the world.
Adam and I made yummy vegan cookies last night. The recipe is on my soymilk carton, and they are deeeelish. And I don't normally go in for plain chocolate chip cookies. Dunno why. They've just never been my favorite. But I ate 4 this morning. Eep. Must stick them away in the cupboard before I eat them all up.
Did I mention the vegan thing yet? I don't remember. In any case, yeah, I've finally made the transition from vegetarian to vegan. Finally. After, like, two years of wanting to. It's been fairly smooth sailing so far, with a few sweet side effects. My skin cleared up within a few days. I have tons of energy. It's nice. And I'm enjoying cooking more, even, because since I can't fall back on baked pasta with cheese I'm forced to be more creative. I made this awesome thing the other night with sweet potatoes - yum. I was so proud of myself.
Anyway, Family Guy calls. More later.
