scotch tape admiration and new Buffy excitement
New Buffy in half an hour, so this won't be too long. Emily isn't here, for which I am thanking every god-like creature that I can think of. She's got something very weird going on with Goth Boy - there is kissing, and cuddling, which would lead one to assume that they're "together." But Justin still hangs around here quite a bit, leaving me very confused. It's weird. I don't know if she's cheating on him or what, and frankly, I don't really care. But it puts me in an uncomfortable position, because I don't know what's going on. And besides, I don't need adultery going on in my room. This here is an adultery-free zone, people. Take it outside.
Speaking of outside - welcome to the home of 7 degrees with wind chill factored in. It's 18 degrees without that, which means that there's enough wind going on to drop the temperature 11 degrees. Fuck the wind. I think malevolent thoughts in its general direction.
Classes sucked a big one today, which is to be expected since it's Long Class Day for me. Un-woo. English from 8 to 9:30, and then 2-D Design from 1 to 5. Yes, 1 to 5. It's horrible. Today was only our second class, and already I welcome death with open arms. It seems like loads of fun in comparison. And we got out almost an hour and a half early today - I don't know how I'm going to deal when we actually have to stay the whole time. Gah. Seriously... we took a break after what seemed like about six years in purgatory, and what do I find when I check the clock? I'd only been in that dreadful room for an hour and a half. ONE-THIRD of the scheduled class time. Please kill me now. I'll give you a cookie from beyond the grave. Real, un-live chocolate chip afterlife cookies. Nummy.
Good CD. Adam got it for me, because he's awesome in more ways that I could ever list (he got me a cute little Rottweiler beanie, too). Amanda recommended it, for which I would be indebted to her if I hadn't introduced her to much of the music that she listens to today. But still, thanks. Excellent call.
From my George Carlin desk calendar: "Let's give credit where it's due and admit that Scotch tape was a really good idea."
Well, I'm off to count down the few (well, 15) minutes remaining until I get to bask in the glow of a brand new Buffy. Tomorrow will bring a picture of my now-adopted stray kitty with her new cute little old lady owner. Feel the anticipation.
