Thing One and Thing Two
Thing One: I saw my new house. Freaky. It's kind of fun, and my room is all slanty and cool. It was formerly an attic, I suppose, because there's no closet, and the ceilings are really low. That's no problem for me, being short, but it was funny to watch Adam come down the stairs - heh. Dauphin is a teeny little place, containing very little but a church (where Adam's dad is the pastor - how weird is that?), a post office, a pizza place, a park, and a laundromat. I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. It's close to the river, in any case, which means that I can borrow my mom's kayak when it gets warmer. All in all, I'm okay with it. I guess. So come February 1st, I'll be calling 609 Alleghany Street home.
Thing Two: My kitten was adopted! The little kitten that Mason brought home in the middle of the night over Christmas Break - this one, for those of you with weak short-term memories - was adopted on December 31st. When you do the Guardian Angel thing, they send you a polaroid of the pet with their new owner/family when they get adopted - it came about a week ago, but I just got it from my mom this afternoon. She was adopted by this cute little old lady. Aww... so happy. I'll scan the picture when I get a chance, because seriously, it's freaking adorable. She was only there for two or three days before she was adopted, too. Yay!
And that's all the Things I've got for now, folks. Adieu.
