damn the lack of available shower stalls
Oh, the inconvenience of sharing two showers with 20-some people. I've been waiting to shower for the past half an hour, and when one was finally empty I let someone else take it. Because while I truly do loathe and despise the vast majority of humanity, including the girls in my hall, I'm a weak-willed pushover. And she was one of the two nice ones, anyway, so bah. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in there sometime soon, though, because Adam and I are going to lunch at 11:30, and it's not 11:02. Must hurry.
So there's been an interesting development in my home/family situation. A while back, I wrote that my parents were definitely not getting back together, and that my mom was moving. Well, apparently things have changed quite a bit, but no one bothered to tell me. Nice of them. Now it seems that everyone (meaning Mom, Dad, Brother, Cats, and myself) is moving to Dauphin. And no one told me. I'm being relocated and no one thought it necessary to let me know. GRR. I only found out last night, when Adam and I met up with my brother Adam at (heh) Chuck E. Cheese. It was interesting. There was game-playing and pizza-eating and late Christmas present-exchanging. On my part, at least. Brother Adam liked his prayer flags a lot, which was fun. I do so love to give people gifts that make them smile.
I've been having weird dreams lately. The night before last, I dreamt that I had to cut up the soles of my feet, and someone was catching the blood in a cup. Creepy. And yet... intriguing, to my sick little mind. I wouldn't think that you'd bleed that much from the soles of your feet, what with the skin being so thick. Hrm. But yeah, lots of dreams involving cutting and piercing and poking at sharp objects. In one, my eyebrow was pierced. It looked cute. I fear that it may have refueled my passionate desire to get it pierced, the one that had, before this, faded into the background.
Well... shower time. I hope. I have to check and such. I'm going to look at my new house later this afternoon, so I'll update you on that sometime tonight. It's so weird to say "my new house." I've lived in the same place for the last... almost 13 years. Gah. My world is all askew.
