Okay, short entry. I'm tired and want to get up before noon.
I just finished a drawing that I've been working on for at least five days now, one that, up until this point, I was very proud of. I had a little crush on it, in fact. But now that it's colored and everything... I just don't like it as much. I ruined it somehow. It's very disappointing. You can see it if you hope on over to my brand-spanking-new Deviant Art account, where my art will be living until I clear space for it here or break down and buy some damn space for myself. It's the newest one, entitled "Casting Stones." Because there are runes involved, and I am a big loser at naming things.
Buddy just ran up the stairs and took over my bed. Fucker. I'll need to be where he's laying in about 15 minutes, so I hope he's not getting too comfy. Or farting on my pillow. Because the dog has a serious flatulence problem. It's... unpleasant.
Today I made an effort to turn Joe and Joe on to Joan of Arcadia by inundating them with a flow of back episodes. Adam figured out how to make the VCD thing work, so I just burned them onto discs and we had a little JoA marathon on their big-ass TV. It was fun. Joey liked it more than his counterpart, I think, and neither of them are feeling the intense love that I do, but I consider them recruited nonetheless. They did ask if they have time to get caught up before the next new episode, after all. And they do, since that doesn't air until February 6th. Which is way too far away for those of us who don't have any catching up to do.
Tomorrow I need to go to HACC to turn in some loan deferment forms and pick up the rest of my books. Including one $65 one that I really don't want to tell my mom about. We're having... financial issues, and since I now feel like a big inconvenience every minute I'm in the house and when school is involved in any way, I feel compelled to try to keep costs low. Unfortunately I have my first Drawing II class on Monday, and the supply list will not be cheap. Guaranteed. Oil sticks are about $40 bucks in and of themselves, and the rest of it... well, I'm sure there's a lot. And I'm making myself sick about it. I seriously considered canceling both classes when I first overheard their discussion about it. But I didn't, and I'm glad, I guess. Sort of. We'll see.
Anyway, kids, it's bedtime. Hopefully it won't take me three hours to drift off like it did last night. Because that just sucked.
'Night.
