I am obviously not a Metallica fan
My face hurts. You know how when you don't get enough sleep, your face gets all tight and your eyes feel hollow? Well yeah, that's me right now. I think that eventually the under-eye circles will cease to be under my eyes and become very bad blush. But that's okay. I'm drinking yummy tea out of a fun mug, so all is relatively well.
Amanda and I are going to see A Walk to Remember today. Yes, the Mandy Moore movie. Shut up. It looks cute and sappy and very romantic, and since we are two females who appreciate sap and romance, we are going to see it. We'll probably go out to lunch or something, too, because whenever I get together with a friend we end up in a restaurant. I guess it's kind of good that I don't have that many friends - if I did I'd be grotesquely obese.
I was going to talk about something, but I completely forget what. That's no fun. Since I can't remember, I'll just go on about random things until I get sick of typing. Okay? Good.
Mason is home. He's listening to Metallica. It's clashing with the jazz that's playing in the living room, producing a rather horrific din. Stupid, screaming, anti-Napster rock fucks and jazz piano do not mix well. Of course, it's my personal belief that Metallica doesn't mix well with anything; it taints whatever comes within ear-bursting range. Mason loves it, so I'm tainted on quite a regular basis. That may explain my overall instability. The hell music seeps into my brain and messes up the chemical balance.
Blah. My tea is gone. I want to make more but I'm too lazy, so I'll just complain about it. Complain, complain, complain. I do a lot of that. It doesn't help, but it's strangely gratifying in its own annoying way.
I'm on my dad's computer, and it keeps freezing up Instant Messenger. Grrr. Stupid ornery computer.
