Ah! So many diaries to read! I checked up buddy list and almost everyone updated. This is fun times. I'll be amused for a while.
So I just got done watching Nerve on HBO. I catch it occasionally, and tonight it was quite interesting. They were doing a street survey on anal sex. This chick went around asking people if they'd ever done it, how many times they've done it, how they get someone to do it, etc, etc. At one point a bartender actually gave a very detailed explanation of the art of oopsing - you know, where Mr. Clumsy is just so excited he doesn't know where to put the damn thing. Riiiight. It was kind of interesting, in a car wreck kind of way.
A Walk to Remember was better than I expected. Mandy Moore isn't half bad as an actress, really. It sad and romantic and it made me cry. I haven't seen a sappy romance movie in a long time, so it was kind of nice. I'd see it again. Yeah. Amanda and I are also going to see the Britney Spears movie, because we're both secretly (or not so secretly, in her case) fascinated by teeny-bopper pop things. Must... feed... addiction.
"You! Bring me some raw cookie dough lest I perish!"
Ha! We had a fun day. It was really nice out today, so after the movie we just hung out in the parking lot and acted goofy for a while. Many an inside joke was born. We decided that we should have a band called "Death Babies" and be on TRL. I'll play the push-button guitar, which I will stomp violently will my stilettos, and Amanda will play her violin. You'd think we'd be all death metal, with a name like that, but really we'll sound like jewel on crack. It'll be good. We also amused ourselves with cone-shaped paper cups. They can be made into many amusing things and are fun to string from light posts. When we'd had our fill of being dorks, we walked to the nearest Dairy Queen to get some dinner. Mmmmm. Oreo Brownie Explosion all the way, baby. Mine had too much marshmallow (semen) sauce on it, though. I much prefer hot fudge.
After dinner, we went back to her house and got in the hot tub for about an hour. My feet were so cold from being on the pavement that when I got in they fucking burned. It went away after a while, though. We made Indian bread (nan) - not from scratch, of course - after we got out of the hot tub, and then I came home. I had a very fun conversation with Adam, and now I am here, typing this.
It's been a good day. Tomorrow I'm going to stop by the high school and talk to my guidance counselor about sending my transcript out, and then maybe go look for a job. Or see if Joe will help me change my oil. My car is about 1,500 miles overdue, and it's becoming very grouchy. Blah. I have a dentist appointment at 12:30, too, so that should be great fun. I do so love having needles poked into my gums and pieces of metal embedded in my teeth. There's just nothing like it.
Edited at 12:38 a.m. I just checked my stats, and I am now trying to contain a huge fit of laughter so that I don't wake anyone up. Someone searched Yahoo! for "enemas for boys" and my diary came up. It was the fourth result. I believe they hit my site because of this entry. I am so far beyond amused that I may wet myself.
